Science: Students will learn about the special properties of magnets while completing various experiments such as: Does the shape of a magnet matter? Does the size of a magnet matter?
Social Studies: Students will learn about different ways to get along. Students will learn to take turns, share, listen and talk in order to solve conflicts independently.
Math: Students will be learning to count backwards by 1s and forwards by 2s, 5s and 10s up to 100. They will also compare numbers, use tallies and begin working on simple addition.
Literacy: Students will continue writing stories with a beginning, middle and an end using transition words (first, then, next, finally). Students will learn to bring their stories to life by making their characters talk, move and think.
Portuguese: Os alunos aprenderão o Hino e alguns simbolos nacionais e sobre os imigrantes que ajudaram a formar o Brasil para celebrar a Semana da Indepêcia.
