First Trimester Awards

Students have been reading a lot of Raz-Kids books and completing various activities in Mathletics! Each month the top three Raz-Kids readers are recognized.  The top three Raz-Kids readers for the month of September accumulated almost 70,000 stars!  The entire class earned 180,000 stars!  That's a lot of reading.  The range was from 28,660 to 230 stars.  Reading Raz-Kids is an excellent way for students to develop strong comprehension skills of both fiction and non-fiction.  Mathletics certificates are awarded when students do a bit each day.  It takes 5 bronze certificates to earn a silver. Students have to earn 5 silver certificates to obtain an elusive gold certificate which no one has ever done before.
