Dear Parents, October, 2016
I am writing you as a reminder that Halloween is a few weeks away and to ask for your help. This year our Halloween celebration will be on Friday, October 28th. The morning will be normal, but in the afternoon all the elementary children parade around the campus in their costumes. It is usually great fun! I was hoping we could put together a nice party for our kids. At about 1:00PM, students will get into their costumes and play games until about 2:00, when the parade begins. Then it’s back to the class for a “spooky snack”. I am looking for a few parents to come and conduct a game or activity with the kids (musical chairs, bobbing for apples, bingo...etc). We have about an hour and a half of play time and the children could rotate from one activity to another. I also need parents who would like to take care of setting the table and maybe putting up some decorations beforehand. Volunteers are also needed for food and drink. A contribution of Halloween decorations is needed for the classroom and/or hallway (please let our room mother know or send these to the classroom so we know what we have).
Our room mother is Lucianna Martinez, Nicholas’ mom. She will be organizing this party for us but needs your assistance. If you’d like to participate in the party’s success, please call or email Lucianna telling her how you want to help. The success of our party depends on our collaboration! And…your child will feel so proud to have mom or dad help out! :)
Help is needed with:
*Conducting a game or activity (can be super simple)
*Providing sweets for prizes or trick or treat bags
*Snack food/ Drinks
*Helping to decorate the classroom/set the table
Please contact Lucianna at luciannaclark@hotmail.com

Thank you so much!
Fondly,
Susan Burnquist
