Celebrating Our 100th Day of School!

This morning, First Graders visited other classes and participated in activities involving  the number 100.They danced and "slept" for 100 seconds. They also skip counted to 100 by 2s, 5s, and 10s. Students were very excited to be grouped with different teachers and friends. They came up with 100 rhymes in Portuguese and 100 reasons why they love Graded School. They were challenged to work in groups and build a tower using 100 plastic cups! Students made 100th Day crowns too! They made a portrait of what they will look like when they are 100 years old and wrote about how their life will be.

The amazing 100th day projects they worked on at home will be displayed in the first grade hallway until the end of the day tomorrow!
