Language Arts: Students are learning about how to write good reviews. They know they can start by greeting the reader. Next they hook the reader by asking questions. Then students state their opinion. The most important part of persuasive writing is for students to support their opinion with three specific reasons.
Social Studies: Students continue to learn about school helpers.
Science: Students are experimenting with plants in order to find out if all leaves can grow a new plant or if all plants keep growing when you cut them down.
Math: Students are developing fact power by working on name collection boxes, fact families and fact triangles. Students can practice their basic addition facts at home.
Portuguese: Os alunos começarão a criar rimas para a produção de sua própria versão do livro "Não Confunda". Em casa, os pais podem ajudar os alunos a pensarem em rimas divertidas, com um substantivo e um adjetivo, como "Não confunda... pé machucado com jacaré mimado."
