Literacy: Students are creating characters for their new writing unit, realistic fiction series books. Their characters will "star"in several books and have many adventures.
Math: Students are identifying and sorting polygons. They are also working with solid shapes and investigating their characteristics. Students are exploring symmetrical shapes.
Science: Students are learning about the properties of matter: solids, liquids and gases. Does it take the shape of the container? Does it have mass? Can it be compressed? Can it flow?
Social Studies: Students are learning about different types of groups with a focus on different types of families.
Portuguese: Na segunda semana do projeto "Animais brasileiros ameaçados de extinção", continuaremos lendo histórias sobre aventuras de animais na Mata Atlântica e na Floresta Amazônica e buscando mais informações sobre animais ameaçados de extinçao.
