Learning Community "C" Schedule

Dear 2nd Grade Families,

This year in the lower school, we will continue with Learning Communities. We are part of the “C” Community and it consists of one class from first grade to fifth grade and two classes from pre-primary. The communities will meet four times throughout the year to showcase and share recent classroom learning.  Rather than putting on a big, well-rehearsed performance, students will have an informal time to talk about their curriculum and celebrate specific core values. Best of all, more intimate groupings will give us the opportunity to include parents in our assemblies.  In addition to the assemblies, via the learning communities, everyone has a buddy class at another grade level with whom we will meet once or twice a month.  Our friends are from Mr. Barkdolls class from 3^rd grade this year.
