Writing:
Students continue to work on their opinion writing. They will now focus on developing opinions about their reading. Students are learning to state opinions clearly, retell their stories so that their
opinions make sense to readers, and revise their writing. Students are using strong words to persuade their readers. They are also being exposed to appropriate transition words and how to use evidence to support their opinion.
Below are the anchor charts we use in the classroom throughout this writing unit.
