Mr. Maykut: Wet Rocks

Students investigated the question: What happens to rocks when they get wet?  It's a lot more complex than you might think!

The rocks got darker.

Bubbles appeared.

Some of the rocks started to dissolve. 

The rocks absorbed the water. 

The rocks sank.

Careful observations.
