Here are some ideas to study spelling at home:
- Read and pronounce the word clearly,
- Cover the word with your hand and try to spell it orally then look at the word and check if you spelled it correctly.
- Use the word in a sentence.
- Write the words with a pencil and then trace it with a crayon.
- Write the words on a dry erase board.
- Have someone at home give you a spelling quiz
If they could spend a few minutes a day, about 5-10 minutes studying these words, it will make a huge difference. Thank you so much for your support.
If you are interested in learning more, read this wonderful article about spelling in English. Spelling in English isn't easy and a little encouragement and practice will help tremendously.

I appreciate all of your support and words of encouragement after my rough week last week with a bad cold and wisdom teeth surgery. Here are a few pictures from the kids working diligently with the substitute teacher! I was very proud of them! Follow the Eagle Way every day (even when Mr. Ro is away)!
Looking forward to seeing all of you tonight at Open House!
