SOCIAL STUDIES
Thank you for your help with the Immigration Stories.  Please take a look at your child's Google Slide and help him or her add personal pictures to their story this weekend.  You can access their slides by going to gmail.com to access your child's Google Drive.  Your child's username is their gr number. You can find it under NETWORK in their agenda. Username grXXXXXX@graded.br

Use the migration analyzer to guide your conversation. 

MATH

Please see the attached Unit 2 concepts for practice at home. If you haven't seen your child's Unit 1 test, check their backpack.  They took their test home on Monday. Please review any incorrect answers. 

WRITING

Students took home their most recent narrative piece today.  Please read the piece with them and celebrate the great writing your child has created!

SPELLING

Students took home this week's test today.  I will send home new words next week.  We are also testing out the website spellingshed.com.  Your child's login is in their agenda.  Please encourage them to spend some time on the site over the next few days.  

READING

Please continue providing your child with at least 20 minutes of silent reading time at home on a daily basis.

Here is a little glimpse into our classroom from this Friday.  Student authors shared their writing with the class!  Students helped each other with elapsed time problems, and we did a lot of reading.
