Bi-Weekly Update-November 29th

It is hard to believe we are nearly at the end of the first semester. There are two weeks left
and they are busy! We will continue to update you however it is important that you read the
information carefully. The last day of school for this Trimester is Thursday, December 12th
dismissal at 11:30.

Before the Holiday break we will have completed our math and science units and persuasive writing. We will continue to work on reading non fiction and researching the human impact on the environment when we return in January.

On December 6th before the Holiday concert from 8:05-8:30 we will have a Celebration of
Learning in your child's homeroom. During this time your child will share with you some of
the work they have learned throughout the toast semester. Please take the time to ask
questions and learn more about their process and experience. Be prepared to learn something
new!

The date for Birthday celebrations has changed because of the many events that are
happening in the next two weeks. It is now:

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11th at 12:45 in the LS playground

In the playground area there will be a table labeled with your child’s class. If your child’s birthday is during that month please bring a small treat for each student in their class.  Feel free to come at 10:45 to set up. Please remember to bring plates, forks, and a lighter if you have candles. 

On December 6th at 9:00 the annual Holiday Concert will take place in the auditorium at 9:00.
Your child has worked hard preparing and they are ready to present a wonderful show. There
will be rehearsals all next week so it is very important that your child brings their recorder
everyday next week.
