It's almost time for Sitio!

Dear 4th Grade Parents,

This is a reminder before we take off for our trip to Carroção! Your child MUST arrive at Graded Wednesday, February 5th, by 6:00 a.m., attendance will be taken at 6:15, and the buses will leave at 6:30 a.m. sharp. Fourth graders should meet in the bus parking lot to check-in with their teacher and drop off their luggage next to their labeled bus. Parents please wait at the bus area if you would like to say goodbye to your children. Pick up will be in the same place upon arrival on Friday, February 7th, at approximately 6:00-6:30pm. If your child uses school transportation, please make the appropriate arrangements for their arrival and pick-up. 

 FYI: On Wednesday, 5th grade students will be leaving around the same time, so we ask that you intentionally keep your 4th grader in the bus area at drop off and pick-up to avoid confusion with the 5th grade field trip.

No electronic games/devices or cell phones, please. Please be aware that we are not responsible for any lost items. You may send healthy snacks for the bus ride. Books to read or a deck of playing cards is acceptable, as well. 

MAKE SURE YOU SEND MS. LARA THE ORIGINAL ID DOCUMENT (RNE, ID, or Passport) AND any missing form, BY MONDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd. NO DOCUMENT, NO BOARDING. THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENT IS REQUESTED BY LAW.

If there is any medication being taken to the camp, please give it directly to the teachers with instructions on the day of the trip and email your child's teacher ahead of time.

There will be an opportunity for students to purchase a t-shirt, hat, or other souvenirs. If students would like to buy something, they should bring money with them (around 50,00 reais).  

Sitio do Carroção has stopped their photo sharing services. Teachers will take pictures and post it on their classroom Instagrams. Lara will keep you informed regularly by email. Any concerns feel free to email her or call her in school. Students not attending the field trip are expected to attend school and be in Ms. Trabelsi´s class at 8:05 on Wednesday.
