Grade 4: Curriculum Update for Week of April 6, 2020

Reading	Students will spend this week practicing how to cite sources correctly when completing nonfiction writing projects.
Writing	Students will continue to complete their ongoing Information report projects, taking time to peer review one another’s work and add different text enhancing features, such a glossaries, timelines and Venn Diagrams.
Math	Students will be completing the final lesson on their unit on Geometry and Angles. They will be focusing on Problem Solving with the Addition of Angle Measures as well as identifying lines of symmetry within two dimensional shapes. Students will complete their End of Module Assessment at the conclusion of the week, ready to move on to their next unit.
Social Studies	Students will undertake a Marketplace project to coincide with their unit on Trade and Economy. The project will invite them to develop and design their own goods and/or services to meet a real need in the market.
Portuguese	Unidade Gênero Argumentativo/Opinativo - início dos estudos sobre carta argumentativa  Cartas - o que são e para que servem? - tarefas de leitura e escrita Revisão e edição de textos - finalização dos portfólios de poemas Estudos gramaticais - exercícios de revisão - sílabas tônicas PAL: exercise in Google Form; do the recommended online reading and exercise. As tarefas de Português são atribuídas na 2a-feira. Entretanto, esperamos que os alunos as completem a cada dia (10 a 15 minutos por dia). Por favor, cheque as instruções no Google Classroom cuidadosamente.
