Grade 4 Curriculum Update for Week of April 13, 2020

Reading	Students will be beginning their unit on book clubs. This week they will be embarking on an author study, getting to know the life and works of Patricia Polacco.
Writing	Students will add final touches and edits to their information reports with the aim of presenting them on Thursday.
Math	Students will make a start on their new unit on fractions.
Social Studies	Students will spend this week completing their paper-based marketplace project. They will present them via Zoom on Thursday.
Portuguese	PLA: Os alunos continuarão os estudos sobre gênero argumentativo -  escrita de cartas de reclamação, seguindo a estrutura e as características desse gênero textual. As tarefas de Português são atribuídas na 2a-feira. Entretanto, esperamos que os alunos as completem a cada dia (10 a 15 minutos por dia). Por favor, cheque as instruções no Google Classroom cuidadosamente. PAL: Google form exercises and exercises on the books  for Timi 1 and Timi 2. Elefante Letrado on Friday.
PE/Music/Art	PE: Students will share their “Favorite Team’s Logo” in a Padlet and will perform some cool workouts. Music: Recorder Practice -Activity 4 Art: Alternative painting
