Ms. Murphy's Distance Learning Week 6

Dear Parents,

It is hard to believe that we are now entering our sixth week of distance learning. Our class Zoom
meetings and individual check-ins are becoming routine and your child is being quite confident with
sharing their screen and multi-tasking through the various platforms for each class. The time we
are in is a learning process for everyone and I am proud of them and deeply appreciate the support
that you are giving them at home. 

Last week was the beginning of  many new units. We started our Fictional Book Clubs and started
a new math unit on fractions and a science one on Energy. We continue to build fundamental
knowledge in these units during this week.

There will be no school this Friday, May 1st making it another short week. All students who have
individual appointments scheduled for Friday will be rescheduled to other days and times that
that will be shared on Google Classroom.
