Grade 4 Curriculum Update for the Week of May 25

Reading	Students continue to discuss the works of Patricia Polacco within their book club groups.
Writing	Students will be continuing with and editing their Literary Essays.
Math	Having just completed our mid module assessment task, students will embark on the second half of our unit on fractions.
Science	Using materials found around the house, students will be encouraged to try building an indoor slingshot as part of our unit on Energy.
Portuguese	PLA: Semana dedicada à finalização de atividades de leitura e compreensão atribuídas pelas professoras.          Guten News - Tarefa complementar de escrita.          Gramática - exercícios no Quizlet. PAL:  Students will review vocabulary and do reading assignments at Elefante Letrado.
