Grade 4 Curriculum Updates for the Week of May 4

Reading	Students will continue reading and analyzing the works of Patricia Polacco in their book club groups.
Writing	Students will grow thesis statements in preparation for their Literary Essay writing.
Math	Students will continue building their fractions knowledge by learning more about equivalent fraction models and placing fractions on a number line.
Science	Students will examine the effects of force and energy.
