Ms. Ziegert - Setting Reading Goals

In 2nd grade @ Graded, students often set goals for themselves as learners. 

This morning, we reflected on what areas students can improve in to become stronger nonfiction readers. During our reading block, students put their names on a post-it and chose an area to focus for the next week as nonfiction readers.

Setting goals is a common practice in our classroom. Students are learning to be reflective an identify their strengths and areas for growth.
