In this post, I will share some important information with you about our class.
Slippers: Your child spends a lot of time at school each day, let's make it more comfortable. Please send in a pair of slippers or "special socks" (ones with traction on the sole) to wear in the classroom. This is voluntary and only if your child wishes to participate.
Photos, stickers, pictures: We will be decorating our writing journals next week, so please email to me or send with your child, photos, stickers or pictures that they may use. YOU WILL NOT GET THESE PICTURES BACK; they will be permanently glued to their journals.
Headphones: I will be collecting headphones for each child to be used with our class set of Chromebooks. Please send in a pair next week. (Some students have them already).
Instagram: We are on Instagram! You can follow our class at 3rdgraded_lomax to see fun snaphots of our learning! I try to post just about every day.
Classroom Helpers: Some of you have already expressed an interest in helping out in our classroom- that's wonderful! I will be posting another message about that in about two weeks, once we have gotten routines into place and our schedule feels comfortable. Thank you for your interest and stay tuned!
Room Parent: If you are interested in being our PTA room parent, please email me and let me know. You will be the liaison between the classroom and the PTA to help organize the other parents in the room with classroom parties and school events.
