Ms. Murphy-Distance Learning Week 3

Dear Parents,
As we enter our third week of distance learning I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all
that you are doing to support your child at home. The transition has been fairly smooth and your
cooperation is a huge part of that success. Please read the information  below which includes some
new information and reminders.

Starting tomorrow additional small focus zoom groups will start to review writing. These groups
are in addition to our individual meetings and will happen at 10:30 three times a week after our
class meetings.  I will discuss this with the class during our class zoom meeting. Each child will
have a chance to be part of a focus zoom group. I will add this information to our daily
assignments.
The Math Mid-Module Assessment will take place tomorrow. I apologize for the technical issues.

It is very important for our students to follow all directions and watch all videos with each
assignment. It is also very important that every child be available and present online for their
scheduled individual student-teacher check-in.

This is also a gentle reminder that Zoom classes scheduled at 10:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays
and Fridays are whole class meetings when teachers take attendance. It is important to show up
on time and follow Zoom class rules. Next to these regular meetings, we have established a
system for individual check-in meetings.

There will be no school this Friday. Enjoy your long weekend!

I have rescheduled students who have individual check-ins on Friday to another day.
Their names are highlighted in blue.
