Grade 4 Curriculum Update for Week of May 18

Reading	Students will continue working in their book clubs, focusing on the works of Patricia Polacco.
Writing	Having completed the planning stage, students will be drafting their literary essays on their chosen book.
Math	Students will be continuing with the study on fractions. This week they will complete their mid-module assessment on this unit.
Science	Students will be exploring human energy sources and will be introduced to the concept of conversion.
